The Kings came back from being down 2-0 after the first period to score five unanswered goals en route to a 5-2 win against the Islanders Hockey Club, and the defending Dineen Cup Champions continue to have a 25-game point streak (23-0-2-0). Will Rassier (’04/Princeton, N.J.) put up two goals, including the GWG. Recent Hamilton College commit Zachary Walsh (’05/Lake View, N.Y.) had four assists, and Xavier Vaillancourt (’04/Pointe-Claire, Que.) had three helpers. Gregor Jennersjo (’04/Stockholm, Sweden) scored a goal and two assists. In net, Beau Lane (’04/Pembroke, Mass.) made 20 saves on 22 shots for the win.
Connecticut Jr. Rangers 4, Jersey Hitmen 3 (OT)
The Jr. Rangers started 2025 with a 4-3 overtime victory against the Atlantic Division-leading Jersey Hitmen on Friday afternoon. Second-year #NCDC defenseman Richard Durina (’05/Dubnica nad Vahom, Slovakia) scored his first goal and it was the #OTGWG! Antoine Tourigny (’04/Victoriaville, Que.) and Alexander Ondos (’04/Baden, Pa.) each had a goal and an assist, and Marc-Alexandre Richard (’05/Val d’Or, Que.) put up two assists. Jakub Kral (’04/Czechia) was outstanding in net, making 53 saves on 56 shots for the win.
Thunder Hockey Club 4, Seacoast Spartans 0
Jeffrey Kreidler (’04/Pittsburgh, Pa.) stopped all 32 shots he faced from the Seacoast Spartans for his first shutout this season and third of his NCDC career. Captain Sean Connolly (’04/Canton, Mass.) and Jory Veenstra (’04/Kansas City, Mo.) each had a goal and an assist. Cooper Caby (’05/Denver, Colo.) and Patrick Poirier (’04/Salem, N.H.) each had two assists.
Mercer Chiefs 3, Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Knights 1
Dominick Gatton (’05/St. Charles, Ill.) was strong in net, stopping 45 of 46 shots, while Ryan Stratton (’05/Syracuse, N.Y.) scored the GWG. Artyom Barashkin (’04/Minsk, Belarus) registered two assists. Mercer is now 3-0-1-0 in their last four games.

Trevor Bodie (’07/Kingston, N.Y.) scored his first goal of the season and it stood as the GWG. In net, Jason Cai (’05/Basking Ridge, N.J.) put on a clinic with 49 saves on 50 shots en route to the win.
Idaho Falls Spud Kings 4, Casper Warbirds 1
The Spud Kings were 4-1 winners against Casper, earning points in a 15th straight game (12-0-2-1). William Strickland (’06/Westerville, Ohio) scored his first goal – the GWG – and added an assist. Andrew Schmidt (’05/Chicago, Ill.) also had a 1-1-2 line, and Charlie Durkin (’06/Glencoe, Ill.) stopped 19 of 20 shots in net.

Grant Hineman (’04/West Chester, Pa.) had the GWG, while Tom Jacques (’04/Louisville, Ky.) put up two assists in the victory. Dilans Birkans (’06/Ilskile, Latvia) earned the victory in net.
